EmployDB by DAXTOP — Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of employdb.com by companies, employees, and recruiters. They exist to protect the integrity of verified employment records — the rules below are short, and almost all of them reduce to one principle: only verified facts, only with consent.
1. The service
EmployDB by DAXTOP provides HR management software and a verified employment network. By using the service you agree to these terms and to the DAXTOP account terms.
2. Factual records only
Employers may only issue structured, factual employment records. Attempting to encode subjective opinions, defamatory content, or discriminatory information into any field is prohibited and grounds for removal from the platform.
3. Verified employers
Only verified companies can issue verified records. Companies registered through DAXTOP products are verified automatically; directly-registered companies must pass review. Creating fake employers or fabricated employment history is prohibited.
4. Employee consent
Recruiters may access an employee's verified profile only through the employee's explicit approval. Circumventing, scraping, or attempting to aggregate profile data is prohibited.
5. Data responsibilities
Employers are responsible for the accuracy of the records they issue and for resolving disputes in good faith. EmployDB preserves complete history and audit trails; records are corrected by voiding and re-issuing, never by silent modification.
6. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Employees' verified employment history is retained for their benefit even if the issuing company leaves the platform.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use EmployDB to harass or discriminate against any person, to make hiring decisions based on data obtained outside the consent mechanism, to probe or overload the service, or to access data you are not authorized to see. Automated access is permitted only through official APIs under a Premium plan.
8. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your DAXTOP account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Company owners are responsible for granting HR roles only to authorized personnel and for removing access promptly when staff leave. Notify us immediately at support@employdb.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Service changes
We improve the service continuously and may add, change, or retire features. The free HR management plan remains free; if a change materially affects how your data is processed, we will notify account owners in advance. We may update these terms, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
10. Liability
EmployDB provides the platform on which employers issue records; the issuing employer is responsible for their accuracy. The service is provided “as is” — to the extent permitted by law, DAXTOP is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.
