Applications, job posts, onboarding runs and chat carry no number because each is already bounded by something real — storage bounds bytes, headcount bounds people, AI credits bound model work. A fifth limit on top would be an invented one.
The AI tier moves the price, not the features
Your plan holds a fixed budget of model spend, so a cheaper model buys you more credits at the same price. One credit is one unit of AI work — roughly 1 job applications parsed and ranked.

Pricing questions, answered
Is the Free plan a trial?
No. It has no countdown and no expiry, and it includes every module in the product — at 10 employees, 2 HR seats and 1 GB of storage. No credit card is required.
When do I need a paid plan?
When you outgrow a limit, never when you need a feature — there is no feature behind a paywall. Pro raises you to 50 employees, Business to 250 with every country pack, and Enterprise lets you set each limit yourself.
What happens when I upgrade mid-month?
The unused part of what you have already paid comes off the new plan automatically. Pay $30 for a month, use five days, move to a $60 plan and you pay $35 — not $60.
And if I downgrade?
You keep the plan you paid for until the end of that period, then move to the smaller one. Nothing is charged in between and nothing is deleted — records above a new limit are retained and become visible again the moment you raise it.
Do employees or recruiters pay anything?
Employees never pay. Viewing your own records, disputing them, approving or revoking recruiter access and exporting your full history are included for every employee on every plan. Recruiters work through their company's plan; there is no per-request fee.
Can we export our data if we leave?
Yes, on every plan including Free. Employees export their complete record at any time from My Records; companies can export their HR records and their billing history as CSV. Your records are never hostages to a subscription.
Is billing live yet?
Not yet. You can choose, configure and change a plan today and its limits apply immediately, but nothing is charged and no card is collected. We will contact plan holders before any billing begins.

Yes. Businesses already on the DAXTOP platform can bundle EmployDB with their existing subscription — one invoice, one account, and automatic employer verification.
