What is EmployDB?
EmployDB is two connected products in one platform: a free HR management system for companies, and a verified employment network built on top of the records that system produces. Companies manage their people in EmployDB the way they would in any HRIS — profiles, departments, positions, promotions, training, certifications, documents. The difference is what those records become: because every employer on EmployDB is verified as a real business before it can issue records, the factual events it records form a verified employment history that the employee owns, keeps after leaving, and shares with future employers entirely on their own terms.
What companies get
The HR side is a complete system of record, free for every company with no employee limit and no trial period: employee profiles synced to real organizational structure; promotions, transfers, and title changes recorded as dated events with documents attached; training and certifications with evidence; private records (salary history, contracts, evaluations) scoped strictly to HR and the employee; role-based permissions for HR admins, HR staff, and recruiters; and an append-only audit trail covering every change — author, timestamp, previous value. Companies that also run on the DAXTOP business platform get their owner account and registered team members synced into EmployDB automatically; companies that do not use DAXTOP register directly and get exactly the same free plan.
What employees get
Employees get the thing traditional HR never gave them: ownership of their own professional history. Every position, promotion, completed training, and award issued by a verified employer becomes part of a permanent record the employee sees in full, keeps when they change jobs, and controls absolutely — nothing is visible to anyone outside the issuing company unless the employee explicitly grants access, and grants can be revoked. Records are factual events only; EmployDB structurally does not support subjective reviews, ratings, or commentary about people. If a record is wrong, the employee can dispute it through a defined process, and disputes are themselves recorded.
What recruiters get
Recruiters get employment verification without phone tag: they request access to a candidate’s history, and if — and only if — the candidate grants it, they read verified facts issued by real employers: positions, dates, promotions, certifications, with evidence attached where the employer included it. What took a week of reference-chasing takes minutes, every access is logged, and the candidate always knows exactly what was shared. Verification stops being a bottleneck and starts being a baseline.
Who builds it, and how it is free
EmployDB is built and operated by DAXTOP, the business management technology company whose main platform — POS, inventory, supply chain, financial, and human capital management for retail, restaurants, hotels, pharmacies, dental clinics, and logistics — lives at daxtop.com. One DAXTOP account signs in across daxtop.com, daxtop.app, and employdb.com. The free HR plan is not a trial funnel: it is free because a large base of verified employers is what makes the verification network valuable, and the optional Premium plan (network features, recruiter requests, analytics, API) is what funds the platform. Employee data is never the product — records are shared only when the employee says so, which is the network’s entire premise.
